Rosie’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm not the target audience for this oddball comedy, someone said it was good, so I had to check it out myself and it was as expected. Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo as Star and Barb, who are lifelong middle age besties, were let go from their dream job. They decide to leave their small Midwestern town and set out on a life-changing Vista Del Mar getaway. The two leads were wholesome and they looked like they had a blast in this film, especially the parts where they were riffing. My partner couldn't handle it so I ended up finishing this on my own since I wanted to see if it would pick up, and it didn't. The jokes didn't land and the story was very scattered. Oh, and Jamie Dornan was in this. It’s a stretched-out skit with an evildoer in it, not for me.
