Rosie’s review published on Letterboxd:
Amazing CGI, but everything else was empty. On the way to his new home, Kong cross path with raging Godzilla, they fight and fight some more. This film doesn't have much of a story or developed characters. Why even have actors/actresses like Rebecca Hall, Millie Bobby Brown or Alexander Skarsgard in it? They tried to make them seem important, they were anything but significant. There were cliche plot devices here and there to get the two kaiju to encounter each other for the battle of the beast-type fights. Even though it was action-packed, I nodded off a few times due to the repetitiveness. This was a MonsterVerse fan service film. It just wasn't for me.
