The Last Unicorn 1982
Holy shit this movie is extremely trans. Love that. This whole movie is frequently very beautiful and funny, but boy do I wish they hadn’t left poor Mia Farrow and Jeff Bridges waving in the wind with those songs because they do very well otherwise. Title song slaps severely though.

The Chronicles of Riddick 2004
Thandiwe Newton is basically doing drag in this and I love that. Still not sure that this is a particularly good movie but it’s at least novel in fun and interesting ways.

The Innkeepers 2011
Loved this, was reminded a bit of The Changeling in the way that it’s just a hangout movie for a while (though this time comic instead of tragic) until suddenly a switch gets flipped and it goes full ooky-spooky. A lot of people see the ending as anticlimactic, but I thought that was kind of the point? Sara Paxton and Pat Healy worked GREAT together, I would watch a whole series starring these two as these characters if it existed. Maybe I should get around to seeing X and Pearl soon.
