Kinda like "Dancer in the dark" but not at all in any way

SO GOOD!! It's a real shame that outside of Japan, Takashi Miike's only popular work seems to be his bonkers movies (e.g. DEAD OR ALIVE). While it is really fun to see some insane shit it is kinda sad that his more grounded works like this, which imo really showcase his talents, are getting swept under the rug outside his hometown. We should all watch more Miike! Because movies are cool
