    Good Boys

Enjoyable for the most part, I just really hated the ending unfortunately.

  • Lady Bird

    Lady Bird

Lady Bird is an incredibly interesting film for me because it is one that I feel has been hyped to a very surprising extent. What I mean by that is that I doesn’t really feel like it would be a film to get quite as much attention and positive press as it has, yet here we are. I’m sorry. I think its overrated. Granted, I still think it’s very good, but I also think it’s very flawed.

    First what I…

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

    Fuck Umbridge

  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

While not as technically tight as some of the other entries, Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire has always been my favorite film in the franchise. I think it is the best acted one, the most tonally consistent one, and has the most interesting plot. I think it’s a masterpiece, it cements the Harry Potter series as one of the best franchises of all time if the other three hadn’t done that already.

  • Jojo Rabbit

    Jojo Rabbit

The perfect blend of childlike whimsy and heavy drama. Both hilarious and depressing, Jojo Rabbit is one of the best and most colorful films of the year. I’m currently debating whether I like it more then Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, while that one is probably the better film, I feel as though this one will have the bigger impact on me.

  • The Goldfinch

    The Goldfinch

    I was into it

  • The Addams Family

    The Addams Family

Slightly better then I thought it would be. The voice cast is really good particularly Charlize Theron and Oscar Isaac. The animation and character design are horrible. The story is dull and uninteresting. The dialogue is so random and bad at points that it becomes unintentionally funny. There’s a dance scene with Uncle Fester that is the strangest thing I’ve seen this year.

Also Snoop Dogg did the soundtrack for this movie...yeah

  • Michael Jackson's Thriller

    Michael Jackson's Thriller

Best music video ever. No contest.

  • Fun Size

    Fun Size

I don’t really understand who this films target audience is. Too explicit for kids, too stupid for anyone above ten. A horrific script brought to life by bad actors...perfect. It’s harmless enough as background noise for your Halloween party, but as a film, it’s complete shit. God I can’t believe I liked this as a little kid.

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas

    The Nightmare Before Christmas

The perfect blending and celebration off two very distinct and different holidays. The effort and creativity behind this film is extremely commendable. This is becoming a Halloween tradition for me, as well as one of my all time favorite animated films. The rich atmosphere this film gives off is one that I could get lost in for hours. It’s brilliant.

  • The Lighthouse

    The Lighthouse

    Fucking brilliant

  • Ad Astra

    Ad Astra

    Tentative 5 stars.

Usually after watching a film I have a pretty definite idea of what numerical value to assign it, even after one watch I usually have no trouble summing up my feelings and assigning a score. This film is the exception. I honestly have no idea how I feel about this film, I never really got “invested” in the story or characters, but the vibe when walking out of the theater was overwhelmingly positive. Ad Astra is an…
