Not only it is one of the funniest movies ever and one of the best high school movies ever, it’s continuing to establish Emma Seligman as one of the best filmmakers working today and Rachel Sennott as the next big thing, and also their partnership as something truly special. I’m going to say it and I don’t care - this movie, in its way, is a freaking masterpiece.

How to write a review or describe my feelings about this 4-hours epic of melancholy and hopelessness? I don’t think I can. Because this is more than a film. It’s a piece of life itself. And when it ended, it felt like life has ended. And although it is such a long film, all I want to do is press play and watch it again. And again. Bo Hu has left this world too young, too soon. A very well made, on-the-edge-of-your-seat paranoia thriller, with great direction and cinematography, and an amazing ending.

A subversive work, filled with commentary and criticism on militarism, human nature and the consequences of war, wrapped in an entertaining science fiction action flick.

Why did nobody tell me that this film is actually great? How did I not get the memo? I mean, a cult classic, sure. But actually amazing? With such an incredible vibe, thanks to the great music and cinematography. With Sharon Stone portraying one of the most memorable characters of modern cinema.

‘Good luck to ye, whatever ye fighting about’

Martin McDonagh continues to prove that he is one of the best screenwriters in the world right now. The Banshees of Inisherin is probably his best film, and that’s a huge compliment. The script is so rich, clever and layered. It is funny, heartbreaking and sad. The characters are fully realized. Not only that, but each actor gives a beautiful, nuanced performance, with Colin Farrell above them all, with a terrific and smart portrayal. Easily one of the top films of the year.
