Upon seeing the opening credits, my first thoughts were, George Lucas did works outside of ‘Star Wars?’ Followed by a clarifying of course he did, he’s a director and producer. Well to start things off, my mind feels somewhat violated. To be clear though I’m not calling this a bad film, rather I apprise this piece for the level of depth and creativity Cronenberg has put into it. Upon my first watching of this film, I am reminded that horror does not require a gore factor, just a creepy story and ominous music is enough to give that feeling of unease.

With the beginning of the film and the name…
