Rich’s review published on Letterboxd:
Adam Driver gives a terrific performance and is really cementing himself as a leading man in real and dramatic films. The film however, a political thriller, is mostly just flat as far as emotion. It gives a lot of facts and there are many interesting things that may lead to someone actually learning about this beyond a movie, but as far as entertainment it never reaches a solid level. Every time a character starts to dive into it with emotion and morality another character tells them to stop. Just felt too abrupt at points to me and kind of felt like it was a tv show more than a look into something real and quite frankly terrifying.
