Rodrigo Santos’s review published on Letterboxd:
We often read that "... is the movie we need right now" and it's extremely annoying, but listen up, folks, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the movie we need right now. With a few exceptions, comic book adaptations are getting pretty formulaic, but this ended up being a breath of fresh air in the superhero movie world.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse embraces the comic book roots and the result it's an insanely creative form of storytelling with innovative animation. I did find some of the transitions between drama and humor a bit jarring, and the third act had a couple of plot conveniences, but this blew me away.
