The Wachowskis' career began as Larry (now Lana) and Andy (now Lilly) Wachowski sat around, crafting the idea of a little sci-fi/comic book/anime/philosophy inspired film called The Matrix. But before they could see their vision brought to life, they stirred up some attention with the thriller Bound, and then went on to make the most seminal film ever made for the computer generation (namely us), cementing their place in cinematic history forever.
