A total conundrum and I don't even know what I'm supposed to fucking say here. Like this is AWFUL, but I'm so impressed by the audacity of everything on display. The ratio of me laughing my ass off and being sufficiently creeped out was pretty even.
There are not many people I could in good faith recommend this to, but if you're like me once you hit the 30 minute mark you'll know if this is worth your time.

Edit: almost all of the core crew is white and yet this is supposed to be more authentic to Chinese culture? The credits OPENLY thank an Uighur concentration camp they filmed near? Not to mention the already widely addressed fact that Disney wanted you to pay $30 for a one time viewing on their streaming service? This fucking movie is screaming at you not to watch it.
Fuck you, Disney.
