    Train to Busan

I came in knowing nothing about the film and I did not expect to get so emotionally involved with the story. This was a fresh take on the Zombie apocalyptic genre.
I liked how the most horrorific parts of the film were generally caused by human nature.
The little girl damn! What a great performance.

LOVELESS was the first movie I watched from Andrey Zvyagintasev. I randomly wanted to go to the movies while I was in San Jose and they were screening Loveless at Cine Magaly. I went in knowing nothing about the director. THANKS GOD I decided to watch it. What a beautiful film and besides that, what a beautiful filmography this director has. "Hubert: I dont think I was made to have a mother
Julie: Maybe your mother wasn't made to have a son"

Love this film. Each character is so unique and interesting. The search for identity, solitude and not being understood are some of the themes this beautiful film deal with, and it does so in extraordinary ways

The script is so raw and cruel, yet it carries great humor. Highly recommend it.

    Shaun of the Dead

    ★★★½

Shaun of the Dead is a British comedy that keeps you hooked from the beginning onwards. It is an honest, unpretentious and very funny film.
The film is ultimately a mixture of genres. Its main success lays on the fusion of romantic comedy (Shaun & Liz) with the horror subgenre (the living dead AKA Zombies). Despite what it may seem, the film is quite original in its approach, which gives it a highly recommended result.

I can say that I enjoyed most of the movie, except for the last half an hour. Wright cuts the humorous mood abruptly.
