When I was a kid I was one of those weirdos who gobbled up every book about out of body experiences and astral projection that I could, fully believing they were a real thing. By the time this film came out I was way past that phase, but the fact that this movie incorporates so much of the actual "lore" from that whole subject matter transports me back into that younger, more naive version of myself and makes it especially terrifying for me. Love it.
