Rhys Bowen Jones’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s kind of teetering between an 8 or a 9/10 but I’m veering towards 9 because its final act is an absolute miracle. It’s one of those films that builds and builds momentum, a slow burn that doesn’t feel slow at all because of it’s brilliantly executed structure, and an exercise in subtlety from every which angle, arguably none more so than a spectacular screenplay guiding us through its unreliable narration. Damon and Driver leave a remarkable impression, but Jodie Comer is the star of the show, delivering a patient, measured performance until she’s finally allowed the limelight and knocks the film and the audience completely for 6. It’s quite something. Amazing film.
