Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ★★★½

Since most of the reviews are unfairly slanted in my opinion, I'll focus on the positive:

- As a comics fan, I've always found Batman to be a far more interesting character as the one mortal man amongst the bigger DC universe and BvS successfully brought that to the screen for the first time, along with inarguably the best Alfred we've seen

- The film has a much richer more cinematic feel, complete with surreal nightmarish visions of the future, when compared to the spandex pictures coming from the Stan Lee camp

- This may be an unpopular opinion, but I had a lot fun watching Eisenberg playing with the Luthor character, he was wacky and genuinely terrifying at times

- Memorable score, especially Wonder Woman's theme
