Holy hell. I have no idea what I just watched. All I know is it was amazing.
I really liked this movie. It doesn't bear a lot in common with the 80s cartoon, but I like how it's been reinterpreted here. It has some flaws, but it also has a lot of heart. I loved Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald. I didn't connect much with the music, but it wasn't bad.
I'm disappointed it didn't do better in theaters because I think the sequel with Ke$ha as Pizazz would be cool.
I saw this in the theater and bought the dvd when it came out, so I've seen it several times. I'll probably never watch it again, but as far as buddy cop comedies go, it seems to hold its own.
