A thriller which has all the hallmarks of a horror, which in turn plays out as a total spookefest.
This took me by surprise, expectations of where you think this might lead to and then throw you a little curve ball throughout is my bread & butter. I want to be creeped out and this has that in spades.
Ethan Hawke as 'The Creeper' was pretty disturbing to say the least, and very unnerving by the end of it all. While it doesn't try anything new per se in the genre, I think it done it's job pretty well.

I'll start by saying I'm not a big Elvis fan, but I was intrigued to see how his backstory played out or should I say rather loosely played out.
All I can say is Austin Butler is a revelation as 'The King' he had his mannerisms, voice, and his moves down to a tee, it's worth the price just to see that. I would say the film kept me interested seeing his rise to the highest…

The Exorcist still lives up to the title most terrifying picture. Because however scary or creepy or down right horrifying it gets, you seem to not be able to take you're eyes off the screen for the fear of missing out on something horrific.
I would've loved to have been around when the film first came out in the cinema all those years ago and see first hand the reaction it was getting. Even…

The new JP trilogy has wrapped up with 'Dominion' and all i can say is what a disappointing end to a disappointing bunch of films.
They really made you to believe and to get everyone hyped this last one was going to be dinosaurs roaming around the world getting into all kinds of mischief.
This is not that, you have a degree of it throughout running through it's core but never did I think they wouldn't…

Well I think Marvel has got another hit on it's hand here, and another great introduction to a Marvel property I've never heard about before.
Shang-Chi is nicely paced, and blends comedy with some fantasy elements and action and balances it within a backdrop of awesome choreography and stunt work and some characters you can route for and get behind.
I don't know where this is going to go and how this will fit into…

    "Say his name"

don't misunderstand this and come into this being a straight up horror flick because it's definitely not.
It has a very different tone to the first playing out more of a slow burn to build how atmospheric and suspenseful it was, the music did play and help a huge part in that.
However what I did find fascinating and in a clever way is how they used marionettes to tell of 'Candyman's' back…
