    'It's a scream baby'

Coming back for another round of killings to the town of 'Woodsboro' and another round of potential victims and legacy characters for 'Ghostface' to hack & slash at.
This wasn't in my anticipated films to watch this year, it was slowly hovering around the bottom of my list. But I can say at this moment in time this is one of my favourite's of the year (so far).
    It fits in with the…

A Comedy/Drama film about friendship, romance and dealing with life's up's and down's. That's all I will say because it definitely benefits going in fresh.
The cast that were assembled here were terrific such an array of colourful characters and talent on show, but special praise goes to Alana Haim & Cooper Hoffman who just steal the whole thing.
Certainly keeps you on you're toes with the back and forth plus the awkwardness that the pair have.…

Trying to watch more from the western genre, with a film that slipped under my radar. Especially with the cast involved I was intrigued.
I was certainly surprised at how foreboding and dark it was. The writing was solid, story plays out more like a road movie getting from point A to B. With a few surprises along the way.
Joaquin Phoenix is fast becoming one of my favourite actor's, the bickering and infighting between…

Due by a chance meet 'David' (Carey Grant) bumps into 'Susan' (Katherine Hepburn). Which from there sets of a chain through a series of misfortune events including a Leopard named 'Baby', a dinosaur bone and a dog.
I really enjoyed Carey's & Katherine's chemistry it was electric they bounced off each other throughout with their comic timing.
The madcap predicaments they get themselves into was so OTT, but it worked alongside the slapstick comedy.

Well I think Marvel has got another hit on it's hand here, and another great introduction to a Marvel property I've never heard about before.
Shang-Chi is nicely paced, and blends comedy with some fantasy elements and action and balances it within a backdrop of awesome choreography and stunt work and some characters you can route for and get behind.
I don't know where this is going to go and how this will fit into…

A great white shark terrorizes a small costal town on the 4th of July weekend.
But as the shark causes more damage a chief of police, a fisherman & a marine scientist go hunting for it, and hopefully hunt it down.
The word 'classic' gets thrown around to much nowadays, but many people don't deny that this is one of them. Using the shark as little and as often works and ramps up the tension ten fold.…
