Russell’s review published on Letterboxd:
I think I shouldn't of listened to the hype with this film. Don't get me wrong the actors portrayed in this film, do a great job cause you understand what the mother is going through, and sympathise with her plight.
But for me it just falls short in my opinion. You get your normal jump scares, as you will in horror films. But they lost me, when you barely see the Babadook in the film. So I lost that sense of dredd, you would get from other films.
I will not be watching this again in a hurry
