    "The future is now old man." Or "Maybe it's time to let the old ways die."

    Three actresses, one character, different stages in their life. Not literally, but quite meaphorically. The cast chemistry between the brilliantly domineering Binoche, brooding Stewart, and youthful Moretz is magnetic. The triumvirate dynamic that they pour into Assayas' film is some of the the most layered storytelling I have experienced. Each actress plays their part terrifically within the context of what the script requires. Moretz

    The fight choreography was cool, and that's about it. Also this Netflix movie has the guts to place a mid credit scene setting up a sequel. To be honest the sequel it hints at is so outrageous that I'll probably bite.

    Let me be the first to say that this would have been another cult classic, if directed by Nicolas Winding Refn of David Lynch. Imagine in Refn's case, switching out Malkovich for Mikkelson, Sturbridge for Hardy, and the painfully dull Zawe Ashton for Elle Fanning.

    Imagine thinking Kristen Stewart is a bad actress.

    Olivier Assayas', Personal Shopper is not only one of the best portrayals of guilt, remorse, loneliness, and coping mechanisms...but it's Stewart's career best performance. I could write an entire paper on this film, and maybe I will one day, but for now I implore you see this with as little pre-knowledge as possible! 

    Also, Kristen Stewart in a beanie is mood.
