This is going to be long so bear with me...
Firstly, there’s some unexplainable it factor this trilogy possesses, the way it strikes you and delivers these poignant and memorable performances, in maybe the most simplistic movies ever. There’s a force that drives the viewer toward Jesse and Celine, a force that makes even their stupidest conversation, or in this case their most aggressive conflict, seem like the best thing that can be put on screen.

Before Sunset 2004
There’s something that draws you into a regular conversation. There’s aspects of film, when the dialogue is so polished that it’s clear it’s a film, however something is slightly different here. There aren’t any major errors or silences, but it just seems to be a direct view into a conversation of two people who are truly unhappy with their state or life. They talk and talk and talk and it’s the absolute perfect thing.
