Part of Scumbalina’s list of Neon Boogers.
A beautiful, often haunting art film. The unique style got its hooks in me and drug me under.
On top of the incredible look of the film, Carmelo Bene used repetition in an interesting way. I'm more used to seeing this type of device in poetry than on the screen, and I dug it.
I found the climax a bit anti-climactic, but otherwise I would call this a perfect film. Even though I would have preferred more, I'm thrilled with what I got.
