For Ari Asters sophomoric feature film unlike His first film Hereditary where he shined a little bit to much light on the better left unexplained mysteries of the films plot, this time Ari left audiences in the dark

    (Like what I did there?)

But a dark contemporary horror fairy tale is the best way to describe this film.  I’m seeing this film again in an hour for the second time after seeing it only last night.

    The Holy Mountain

    Idk about this one folks.

Trippy, a spiritual experience. Filled with nudity and violence.

My god yes, the cinematography, colors, animals, score. Everything is so out of this world.

Hella deep. What they appear to be, a line of masks, the artificial muscles, the planets. YES YES YES. ITS STARTING TO ALL MAKE SENSE.

This movie will never make perfect sense but it’s fucking cool.

Society as a whole is made fun of and recontextualized. Art, sex, war, weapons, vanity, greed, parenting, religion , government, life itself. Everything.

Hmm seems like a good day to torture myself.

“Bugs bunny voice” —- eyyy what the fuck doc”

Lol every dad in this films an asshole.

James is an awful actor with no charisma on screen.

Full of lane references that will age this film faster than the original.

    The Northman

Stellar directing as always from the master behind modern classics such as The Witch and The Lighthouse, Robert Eggers brings a whole new level of tragedy and insanity with his 3rd feature film, The Northman. Brutal, violent, disturbing, animalistic. Feral. And fantastical while staying grounded in the worlds reality.
