I wish someone as heavy handed as this film would spank me.
The most beautiful shots are the ones without dinosaurs.
Incredibly interesting and ambitious in premise, Prehistoric Planet often fails to capture the life and lush of your nature documentaries, combined with unrealistic cinematography, the experience just feels incredibly inauthentic.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
I read this as being about how men raise their sons similar to how they were raised, & generally similar to themselves, passing along their generational toxic traits in the process.
btw the final scene is probably the craziest thing you’ll see in a theater this year, it also solidifies my interpretation. The endless cycle.
