“I put EVERYTHING on a bagel”
My sympathies for anyone who doesn’t get to see this in a theater. There’s infinite things I want to say about this film, but I truly think this is a film which will deeply inspire future filmmakers, and we’re likely to see its influence on the cinematic craft for decades to come. It’s difficult to remember if I heard more laughing or crying, there was so much of both. Transcending.

Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe 2022
The Rick and Mortying of Beavis and Butthead.
Even with how outlandish it gets, it’s lovely to see how similar it is in comedy and tone to the original show.

The Killing of America 1981
This mondo triumph really puts into perspective how far we’ve devolved since its creation. America, continuing to devise new unspeakable events singular to this country, stresses the ethics of this film more timelessly than ever. Events worse than anything in this film have occurred within my own community and affected my family directly. I’d imagine during the craft of this doc in 1981, one wouldn’t have a hard time choosing between the limited footage of depravity to include. Today, where the hell would you start?
