i am mush writing this but i feel like ill lose it if i skip to write this tomorrow. it made me realize one of the things i appreciate the most in films i love. embracing the idea that it is in the simplest actions of humanity that we can find the most complex feelings. returning things to people does not include all of its weight. it is not the alternative to escaping, and it might not even be any different than just tossing it away. it is part of our nature to meld with the objects we live with, making it beyond its function, and simply statues to represent memories of hurt, warmth, or something we are yet to discover.
it starts with jean liking minimalism, but later becomes jean not liking weight. a beautiful experience of learning about characters who represent many parts of yourself and the people you know. truly a new favorite
