Gunn sets out and achieves what every sequel aims to do but doesn’t always succeed, he improves on all aspects of GOTG vol 1 which in itself was a solid watch. Volume 2 however was the stronger outing.

Drax and Mantis were the standouts but having said this, there wasn’t really any weak threads in the entire screenplay.

Opting for George Harrison’s My Sweet Lord as one of the song choices, also single handily hands the trophy to Volume 2 for best soundtrack.👌
