Sahil Thind’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wow did not see that coming, a minimalist plot where almost nothing happens for like half its runtime. Instead the focus is on capturing Kurt Russel’s face from all different angles and lit in all the neon shades. Don’t get me wrong i dig that shit but not as a replacement for pulp action scenes no sir. Also felt like Carpenter and co started with the greatest premise of all time fist pumping and all then forgot about the rest. Soundtrack bangs tho.
