Sam Blackman’s review published on Letterboxd:
I had not seen Thor since its initial release, and had always kind of looked down on it as one of the MCU's weaker offspring. Ultimately, I actually quite enjoyed this. It is all over the place story-wise - the plot is convoluted, the character motivations are weak, it is a bit heavy on particularly dumb action scenes - but it is also quite a lot of fun, and I admired the decision to commit in the presentation of the Asgardian world... even if sometimes looks a bit dated. Good casting choices also elevate the material. Thor is certainly imperfect, but is an enjoyable ride - just don't think too hard.
Also, it was nice catching up with the White Walkers again.
