this actually succeeds because it understands that under no circumstances do we want these characters to exchange more than several lines of dialogue.
by default this is the best thing i've seen from anderson; fair's fair, he clearly knows how to maximise a $60 million budget (and an m rating). i love that t.i.'s 12 y/o son encouraged him to do the movie, and anderson pays back the favour by obliterating his dad in the gnarliest way possible before the first act break. king shit
