Sam’s review published on Letterboxd:
So much to process, but I absolutely loved it. Greatly appreciate how it was portrayed through 12 chapters, with each one building upon the last and tackling challenges that Julie was facing during this period of her life. With the film using the audience’s knowledge of the tropes of the genres, it uses that to its advantages, taking the narrative in new directions, while still feeling naturalistic at the same time. It’s probably the best film of 2021 (that I’ve seen), so I’d highly recommend it!
