Sam Thompson’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Collection is more of the same but a lot more ambitious.
From the opening sequence I knew it was going to suffer slightly from sequelitis. Going bigger here isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I think I preferred the cat and mouse claustrophobic sense of the first one. I still had a lot of fun with this though.
There’s a lot more action this time round. This is a weird comparison but I sorta think The Collection is to The Collector like what Aliens is to Alien...if you know what I mean?
I really like Josh Stewart in these movies. Arkin is a character that you like and really root for.
Looking forward to a possible third.
