Sam Van Hallgren’s review published on Letterboxd:
So this is one of those movies where you're like yeah, ok, that was fun and you think that's it. But then a couple months pass and you realize that something is missing from your life. And what's missing is JOHN WICK.
A precarious mix of absurdity, cool and existential crisis (and also a few guns); but credit to Stahelski and Leitch for pulling it off. And Keanu... what can I say? He's a survivor. He got old like the rest of us and after a certain point he just starting feeling like family.
Was there a third random WIRE vet at the hotel that I missed? One is always nice; but since there were two I figured maybe there were three. Maybe we could have gone with Felicia Pearson aka Snoop instead of FNL's Palicki as Miss Perkins and we'd have a real masterpiece on our hands.
