Week 25: Director Recommendations: Edgar Wright Week
Christopher Reeve was an icon. I can still remember the moment he died, 15 years ago. At that moment I didn't saw a superhero yet but I knew that Christopher Reeve was very special because his dead got a lot of attention in the Dutch press. 9-year old me found it also very special that Superman dies, because Superman never dies. How is that possible?
Despite this history I've never seen this classic before. Nowadays I've seen a lot of good superheroes, but this was maybe the first good Superhero flick? Although it is a pretty predictable, I loved the charcacters and Reeve's charisma.
