Kubo and the Two Strings

Is it okay if I say I'm more interested in watching the making of Kubo and the Two Strings, than I am in the movie itself? Yet again, we have an animation journey movie where the quest this time is less interesting than returning a heart to an island. In this one, it's merely a horizontal deflection chicane, keeping us from just getting on with the confrontation already. Nothing more perturbing than a pointless pursuit. So, this is why I prefer to see the fascinating man behind the curtain, for the one in front of it couldn't keep my attention.
