Finally, an epic! An metal as fuck epic!

The Tree of Life 2011
SO I put off watching this film because I missed it in the cinema on its initial release. (Why? Because I was in China at the time. That's why.) After years of restraint, waiting, hoping that I might one day have the chance to experience it on the big screen first, I finally caved and watched it with my parents on DVD (light viewing in the Connell household, to be sure). No prizes for guessing that I loved it.
Maybe one day I'll catch a big screen revival but until then those images (and the music) will reside with me wherever I go.
