ehh not sure how to feel about this one. zoë kravitz is the only poc with more than 2 lines so that’s fun and of course michael shannon makes a random appearance

the way artemis was severely insecure then turned out to be olivia cooke. what kind of joke

last re-watch of the year has me super emotional. sacremento is beautiful through greta’s lense and the scene of lady bird and her mother shopping for her prom dress still resonates with me more than anything i’ve seen in film.

i went into this hoping it wouldn’t romanticise deportation but i guess i’m just another idiot on this planet. what a let down :(

ok fine this is a bad movie but it birthed my love for james mcavoy when i was 12 and it ends with the best song in the world hoppípolla so...

obvious bias favouring the male lead is a bit eh but apart from that this movie is fantastic. laura dern be my divorce lawyer!

took me 10 minutes to realise this is the adaptation of that really bad ya book i read when i was 15
