They were right. absolutely right.
Jokes aside, there’s something so fundamentally right about the way scandinavians capture the coming of age in films: of teenagers in skam, of adults in the worst person in the world.
There’s so much to be said about the choice all of us have to make as some points: whether to please other people by sacrificing our own health and interest or to put ourselves first at the risk of being seen as the bad guy; there’s nothing wrong with the latter. i wish less movies tried to sell us the dream and just show us the ugly, the good old ugly we’re faced with everyday
