    i don't find the cinematography particularly beautiful, but some scenes had the ability to capture this atmosphere of hauntingness, hovering over the city and the charaters. i think it was the music that set it off for me.
    the first part of the film seemed to drag for too long, whereas the second one managed to be brutal, which would have been really exciting to have been present during the earlier parts. another interesting aspect that could have been explored…
