2021 Fantastic Fest @ Home #10
Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes does more with a modest budget, single set, and cheap production equipment in 70 minutes than most big budget studio-backed films can dream-of. Beyond the Infinite generates the simple idea of a two-minute wormhole that connects two screens, proceeding to use this rule to play within its consistently clever and hilarious sandbox.
As a bumbling cast of characters test the limits of their discovery, our growing appreciation for the production planning and coordination of the script is only matched by the effort to attach some emotional stakes. Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes is smart, funny, and infinitely enjoyable for those that appreciate inventively scrappy filmmaking.
