there is something about it that hooks me, it is really captivating. probably due to the elegance, the photography and the mixture of dreams, fantasies and reality, which i adore. overall, i've found it very ingenious and innovative. also, it has been a little hard for me to watch some scenes which i have considered to be very sexist. it is true that it is part of guido's personality, but at a certain point it was no longer funny for me. still, it's an almost dreamlike visual experience and i completely understand why so many people consider it a masterpiece.

And this was made in 1943. I am completely blown away. Ingenious psychoanalysis; surrealist & feminist.

Persona 1966
I don't know what to say about this film. It has left me speechless, never better said. I feel that there are so many possible interpretations that no matter how many times I see it, I am not going to get to a point where I am able to connect absolutely everything in a logical way. The acting was astounding, as well as the shots and their composition; really shocking. I need to rewatch it.
