    Frozen II

After the huge success of Frozen in 2013, expectation for this sequel were sky-high, but, and while still preferring the first one, Frozen 2 was not a disappointment.
With breathtaking visuals and magnificent animation, Frozen 2 delivers a message of major importance now-a-days: love unites, hate separates.
While successfully creating a new story line, this sequel also brings back the old feeling of the previous story, enabling the viewers to connect easily again with the characters that we already knew…

O filme sabe…

  • Yesterday

Smoothly (but not always effectively) dodging the lines between cliché and unexpected Yesterday is a well-achieved imaginative narrative on what the world would look without one of the most revolutionary pop groups in history.
Funny (sometimes even cringy) and groovy, it is due to get you stuck on re-listening The Beatles for the next few days, as well as launching another Patel to the movie industry!
Even though it is entertaining, I didn't find any aspect especially remarkable or outstanding in this Danny Boyle's film besides the creative plot, being the reason why I give it 3 a half stars.

Well achieved entertainment, despite the predictable plot twists and some threadbare jokes.

Pawel Pawlikowski: the master of silence.
Photography, editing and sound are, by far, the best technical aspects of this nearly masterpiece.
Watching it is a beautiful experience.

  • Solum
