  • Hillbilly Elegy

What an emotional charge!! I was not ready for this!!

A very raw and real family story, portraying both the worst and best of human relations. Easily one of the best movies I have ever watched.
Hats off for every single person involved, but specially for the actors and the makeup and hairstyling crew. Marvelous job!!

I really don't get why this movie is being so snubbed 🤷

  • Monty Python and the Holy Grail
  • Umbrella

    A short film done right

  • Ma Rainey's Black Bottom

    Ma Rainey's Black Bottom

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

This movie delivers both the soul of live theater and the mastery of cinema.
    It's a masterpiece!

This was not at all what I expected. I was expecting a regular biopic style, but instead we are given the chance to get to know Ma (near the end of her career) during one day and one day only.
The whole plot is set in pretty much just one place, the recording studio, whose atmosphere becomes denser and denser as the movie…

Incredibly funny and amazingly achieved!! What a role Alain Buet played! And a big standing ovation for the puppeteers as well 🙌🏼

  • Anima

Serious 1984 vibes in a captivating musical and visual spectacle directed like only the best can. Amazing!

  • Phantom Thread

This is the most beautiful, thought-provoking and deeply meaningful movie I've ever seen. So aestheticly inspiring 💖

I haven't stopped thinking about it ever since I first watched it and I don't think I ever will.

Can't say that I wasn't triggered by the apricot dripping on the bed sheets
