    This one is in right in Kore’eda’s wheelhouse, and he seems like a perfect example of the saying about every writer being dealt one hand of cards and playing it different ways throughout a career or body of work. There is so much off-screen story in his movies that I sort of wish he’d just write a novel already. He is magic with children. Also noodles.
