Here's the big, fun, summer sci-fi action thriller that's been a long time coming. If the Weinstein Company had given this any kind of advertising push, this would be one of the biggest hits of the year, no question about it. Anyway, it's a high quality flick that's probably the most purely entertaining film of the year. Shades of Hunger Games and Old Boy, mixed in with Gilliam-esque flourishes. And it's such an ingenious premise; basically like Die Hard on a train. I'm probably not making any sense here, mostly because this movie just blew me away so. Just go see it if you like sci-fi action. Also, it's great to see on a hot summer day.
