Licorice Pizza

Licorice Pizza ★★★★★

Alana really does have a powerful feeling. There’s something special about her, I’ve always seen it. I’d describe this movie as effortless, eccentric, and watchable. It was so easy to love and so hard to get bored. I loved the music, the sets, the costumes, the casting, the lighting, the MUSIC, the cinematography, the dialogue, the pacing. Just every aspect. Only questionable parts were the Asian accent scenes…felt kinda out of place and rly cringe to hear. Other than that, I felt caught up to speed the entire time and interested in the characters trajectories. The 70mm film contributes to a nostalgic Hollywood 70s vibe and the warm colors look phenomenal. I could’ve watched 4 more hours of that, though I really appreciated the clearly selective editing. Loved❣️
