Oh, good lords, I super remember those cheap-ass apartment kitchens. And those situations where an ATM is desperately needed and not there. And lost or reduced employment. And rent panic. And giving the false impression that you're doing well because you just don't want to get into it. So this movie is my life until fairly recently, except the parts where it's my life as it still is.
Oh, and everything about the "Modern Love" running scene is what makes joy possible. The way the cuts match the song's beat and then don't and then do again. Swoon.
