it’s true. i’m a sucker for films about drummers.
but holy SHIT. the sound design in this film was SO well done. it felt like i was in ruben’s perspective the whole film. it brings out this films dynamic in so many ways.
riz ahmed’s acting here is impeccable. he had a great emotional range, i just love him so mf much. literally he deserves all of the awards. plus the ending. GENIUS.
this film was electric, excellent, exuberant. i just hope more films come out like this one.
