Steven Savona’s review published on Letterboxd:
I often tell people that I prefer to view films as emotional rather than cerebral experiences, and here's a movie which champions that mindset. The Double Life of Véronique demands to be felt rather than understood. Colours flirt with your retinas, and the music creates an auditory sensorium in your soul. Rarely have I seen a leading lady as sensual as Irène Jacob in this film. Such a captivating performance.
