Beautifully made with some delightful surrealistic touches and a dynamite lead performance from Daniela Vega. The characterizations of her lover's family members felt a little too neatly antagonistic for my taste though. The lack of shading meant many of her interactions with them started getting repetitive. But that being said, this still feels vibrantly necessary. Lelio & co. prove there's still life left in stories about grieving lost loved ones, if only by showing that everyone, no matter their background, often does it the same way.
