"Meet an outsider who changed the game"
Fighting with my family is a real life sport drama who does not do anything spectacular above the genre, but it has enough charm and heart to win its audience over. The dynamic between the two siblings is the heart of the film and what it keeps its audience interested. Sadly, the trailers gave away the best moments of The Rock, yet they were fun to see. The direction by Stephen Merchant was just right given this is a true story. The performances are all solid especially by Florence Pugh and Jack Lowden who play the two siblings. Their characters were flawed and easy to get behind their situations. The film is fun to watch and a reminder to not give up on your dreams no matter how hard they are. Fighting with my Family is worth the price of admission.
