    The presentation as an almost uninterrupted shot as two soldiers race in real time to deliver important orders is only a gimmick if you let yourself get caught up in seeing through the production. Of course you can spot the likely places where the shots have been cut and edited together if you've even a little knowledge of film production, but it's not in service of an empty gimmick.
    If you let yourself enjoy it, you'll be treated to a seamless thriller that benefits from the urgency and tension of its "real time" uninterrupted presentation, captured beautifully by Mendes and Deakins.
